Warmed Stones

This massage was perfected in the mountains of Wyoming. Below zero wind chills and mountains of snow from September to June will make anyone weary and miserable. Ranchers and town folks alike needed something to thaw them out! So the “Cody Thaw” was developed! Imagine warmed stones being placed on specific points on your body, under your feet and being held in your hands. Now imagine long strokes and kneading and rolling being applied with more stones held in my hands. The warmth and weight of the stones relax the muscles and joints, allowing the therapist (that’s me!) to work deeper while using lighter pressure. Ahhh, here comes the thaw! Now I won’t give away all my secrets, but know that heated towels, aromatherapy, neck rolls and a scalp, hand and foot massage are included!

Warmed stone massage is not just for people that are chilly. People who suffer from Anxiety / Depression, Insomnia, back pain and spasms, decreased joint mobility, and autoimmune disorders such as Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid arthritis have been known to benefit from the application of warm stones during massage too.
